Theatre fans in Dundee are well-served by the city’s thespian scene, with the internationally renowned Dundee Repertory Theatre at the forefront of all things theatrical. Better known by its abbreviated title of The Rep, the theatre has been responsible for some of the biggest hits in recent Scottish theatre history including the original stage version of Proclaimers musical Sunshine on Leith and the theatrical adaptation of Swedish vampire horror Let The Right One In. The in-house company produce regular new work with touring shows from the likes of National Theatre of Scotland making regular stops in Dundee.
