Much of shopping in Dundee is concentrated around the Overgate centre, with its range of big-name retailers, but do a little digging around and you’ll find some great independent shops in Dundee.

Record lovers are catered for with Groucho’s, a record shop in Dundee which also doubles as the city’s main place to grab gig tickets for shows across Scotland. Foodies can pick up organic and paleo goodies at Heart Space Whole Foods in Exchange St, or head up the road to The Cheesery and peruse a whole range of dairy-based goodies. You’ll also find a range of art and design shops in Dundee, with Gallery Q, Quirky Coo and the in-house shop at Dundee Contemporary Arts offering a range of artworks, gifts and design pieces.
