Beach Ballroom

Founded in 1929, Aberdeen's Beach Ballroom is an events venue which rivals the most imposing of Scotland's theatres, purely on grounds of tradition.

Featuring a specially 'sprung' flooring system which was groundbreaking (hopefully, not literally) at the time of the Ballroom's opening, it's a popular site for ballroom dancing competitions, corporate event hire and weddings, as well as riotous ceilidhs and suppers serving up to 600 folk. Beautifully situated on Aberdeen's promenade, it's worth a visit just to see if the uniquely springy floor will work as a natural trampoline... Admittedly, this is unlikely.
