Stack & Still

Stack & Still is proud to proclaim that it is the UK’s largest pancake house, and it really does occupy a huge space, located in the giant spot that used to host Byron Burger on West George Street.

This is a fun, interactive family restaurant. The menu is a mix and match affair with quite literally millions of different menu combinations possible. Starting with a pancake base of your choice – varieties include buttermilk, buckwheat, protein, gluten free or sugar free – you can then go wild with sweet or savoury toppings, beginning with the more usual pancake toppings like maple syrup, Nutella and bacon or deviating towards more out there choices like marinated king prawns or pickled red onion.

Stack & Still is also home to Glasgow’s first self-dispense bar. Using the contactless card you get on arrival, you can activate a variety of drink pumps and pour yourself a glass of prosecco, a cocktail or a pint from their impressive beer menu. Don’t worry if you pour a terrible pint though, there are staff on hand to help you out if you need assistance.
