The Wise Monkey

The now defunct Hubbard’s has been recently reincarnated as the Wise Monkey, bar/restaurant/live music venue, catering to more of a student crowd than previously. Just under Viper, the bar cultivates a lively, pre-club buzz most nights of the week and often has free live bands. The bar itself stocks a variety of quality wines and international beers as well as speciality ales and beers from Scottish micro breweries for the brewski connoisseur. For the peckish patron, there’s classic pub grub to be enjoyed, cooked on site with fresh ingredients.
