Recoat Gallery

Recoat Gallery is an exhibition space on North Woodside Road in the West End of Glasgow. It specialises in exhibiting street art, graffiti, illustration, photography and graphic art, as well as hosting several off-site projects.

Recoat showcases work from both emerging and established Scottish artists and designers, as well as international ones. If you're a street artist, Recoat is your one-stop-shop for materials and spray paint as well as magazines and books dedicated to graphic art and graffiti.

They also stock jewellery, clothing and very reasonably priced prints and original artwork. Their annual 'Affordable Art Show' is also an excellent place to pick up an original piece of art that won't break the bank. Additionally, Recoat runs an excellent blog that'll keep you informed about what’s happening in the world of street art, as well as publishing photo albums of each exhibition and its artworks – well worth checking out just for the stunning images.
