Gallery Unit

Gallery Unit (also known as G Unit and Gallery UNIT, among other variations) is a non-profit art space located on the first floor of the The Savoy Centre in Glasgow. Founded by a group of students who met during their studies at Glasgow School of Art (as many of the best galleries in the area are), it's an up-and-coming wee hub of talent and clever curation. They're committed to serving up all kinds of diverse art to the public, from both international and local origins.

Previous exhibitions include works from artists Elaine Ang, Lin Chau and Rachael Simpson. If you're looking to get something hot off the mark, head down on a Thursday to catch an opening. Otherwise, exhibitions generally last for around three weeks – but make sure to keep an eye on their website and social media for updates. 

Just a five minute walk from Queen Street station, it's pretty central, too – so you've no excuse not to make your way over asap.
