The £10 Thrift Store

The £10 Thrift Store does exactly what it says on the tin – all items are on sale for just £10 a pop. Located on Great Western Road, it’s the sister project of We Love to Boogie in the Merchant City. Most of the stock is vintage clothing – including Levi jeans, cocktail dresses, leather jackets and the like – but they also sell their own range of handprinted t-shirts and jewellery, as well as vintage accessories is the form of shoes, scarves and hand bags.

Most items are imported from America and deliveries often throw up some surprise lines such as boiler suits and wedding dresses – still for just a tenner. And the shop itself is arranged exactly as a thrift shop should be – with rails of clothing crammed together, stock reaching up to the ceiling and accessories draped across packing cases, vintage furniture, and even an old piano. The shop also occasionally carts its eclectic stock to pop-up fashion markets where items are still priced, you guessed it, a tenner!
