The Hyndland Fox

Run by the people behind Peckham’s, and situated on the site of their very first shop, you know what you’re getting with the Hyndland Fox: good food, good drink, slightly above average prices. The interior is very busy, in a stylish, quirky sort of way: think Mediterranean-style tiles meet exposed brickwork and smooth wood. With low-hanging lights and massive windows, the space is very bright, and situated on the corner of Clarence Drive, it’s in a prime location for long afternoons spent people-watching. They’ve got separate lunch and dinner menus, the latter of which features sharing boards, and the drinks menu features no less than five varieties of Bloody Mary – probably best to book a table for Sunday brunch…
