Indian Platform

Indian Platform is the latest venture from the owner of the well-loved Ashoka chain of restaurants, Nasreen Aksi. The restaurant is named after the building in which it is housed, the former Kelvinside railway station, a stunning building which also houses the Italian Bistro, on the ground floor.

Inside, Indian Platform is as elegant as it is outside, with high ceilings, bright lighting and simple wooden tables. A real plus is the balcony and roof terrace, which looks out onto leafy Kelvinside. Despite the luxurious setting, the food is highly affordable, with all starters priced at £2.95 – potentially the cheapest Indian food in the city.
