The Corinthian Club

The Corinthian Club on Ingram Street in Glasgow's city centre is housed within a lavishly decorated A-listed building. It was previously home to the Glasgow Ship Bank as well as the judiciary courts, when much of the rich architectural details were covered with fake walls. In 1999 it was restored to its former glory by the G1 Group who still own it today. The Corinthian Club is a sprawling building; five floors house a variety of drinking and dining spaces, meeting rooms, a casino and a nightclub. In the basement is the Mash and Press, an intimate space to enjoy fine wines and speciality beers. One floor up is the Bootleg which specialises in mature spirits. Also on the ground floor is the casino (open from 2pm to 6am) featuring grand pillars and a beautiful ceiling, creating an experience more in tune with James Bond's glamorous gambling than other high street casinos. The upper floors contain a variety of spaces available to hire for private dining, birthday nights, seminars and meetings.
