Eat

In its less-than-decade-long lifetime, Glasgow's Eat café-deli has nurtured quite a staggering reputation for itself, largely thanks to doing exactly what it hints it might. Passionate about making good food, and then enjoying all of the tastes and textures of eating good food, this charmingly unpretentious venue trades mostly with small suppliers and artisans, resulting in enough stonkingly delicious, lovingly prepared sweets (we consumed two Belgian chocolate mousse-cakes in quick succession) and savouries (falafel, hummus and tzatziki flatbread, enjoyed by our more nutrition-conscious dining companion)  for you to feed your face until it can take no more. And if sitting in, badgered by the temptation to order something else from the menu, is likely to prove too much, Eat operates a takeaway service.
