Tantrum Doughnuts

Blossoming in a foodie scene dominated by gourmet burgers and artisan pizza, Tantrum Doughnuts is a beacon of hope for those with a sweet tooth. The doughnuts are crafted by hand from scratch each day with ingredients sourced locally, though the inspired and offbeat combinations are Wonka-esque in their gluttonous glory. The daily menu changes based on the season, guaranteeing variety and ensuring an excuse to visit repeatedly. Try the ‘Crème brûlée’, a ring of pure joy filled with vanilla bean custard and finished with a crunchy sugary topping. 

Tantrum is the brainchild of Iain Baillie, the pastry chef of the Ox and Finch, who was previously trained at the Fat Duck (three Michelin stars, just sayin’). He is joined by his wife Annika, and their pop up approach to Tantrum proved to be a sell out, pushing them to find their own premises and settle down in the West End. A must visit.
