The Connich

The Connich is the recently renovated hotel bar at the Glasgow Hilton on Charing Cross. Inside the mix of traditional wood panelling and brass features with funky half moon booths creates an elegant, yet relaxed setting. Cocktails are The Connich's speciality, made from fresh fruit ingredients, premium spirits and served in giant glassware. The menu contains their own inventions as well as classic and calorie-conscious drinks. In addition to cocktails, The Connich offers several drafts, a concise selection of world bottled beer and an impressive selection of some 22 malt whiskies.

The food menu includes classic bar food and a selection of tapas with a Scottish twist, such as the genius tattie scone nachos. Also on offer is a variety of unique afternoon tea packages, including the Mad Hatter's Tea Party, which comes complete with caterpillar cupcakes and White Rabbit 'You Better not be Late' Carrot Cake. It's not a cheap bar but the quality of the food and drink and the level of service make it a worthy treat if you're feeling indulgent. And, heck, you deserve it.
