Crowdfunding can go way wrong when it’s in the hands of those who want to exploit their fans or those who lack the follow-through to make good on their ambitions but when it’s used right, it can create pretty wonderful things.

And lo Super Bario was born.

The King Street bar exists because some people thought “Hey you know what would be cool? If I could be in a bar having a beer but also be playing Street Fighter”. And then a whole bunch of other people were like “Hey that would be cool, here is some money please make this a thing.” And now it is.

It’s a great idea, brought to life with a clean, crisp style and no fuss, maximising the potential of a small space. The bar is well stocked with a pretty wide selection of well-priced booze and the other walls are lined with classic arcade consoles. Most are regularly set to free play and those that aren’t were well worth your coins back in the nineties - add in a couple of decades worth of nostalgia and you really are getting a tremendous deal.
