Mango Latino

Mango on Sauchiehall Street has a lot going on. This colourful tropical bar hosts salsa nights during the week, has a whole separate entrance for their club night/live music spot and serves up some of the best cocktail promos in the city.

If that wasn’t enough, they’ve recently set up a partnership with a pop-up kitchen called TBC, so they’re doing food now as well. The menu is pretty much on brand for Mango’s Latin flavour, with a lot of Mexican-inspired dishes including fajitas and quesadillas, but there is also room for crowd-pleasing pub grub like pizzas and topped fries.

The two-page cocktail list features a lot of familiar faces and represents wildly good value for money if you visit between Sunday-Thursday, when every cocktail on the menu is £3.95. A refreshing change of pace from the cocktail promo technique of luring you in with chalk board promises only to discover that there’s only two discounted cocktails to choose from and one of them is a Woo Woo.
