Six Foot Gallery

The Six Foot Gallery is both a studio and workshop, as well as a gallery. Located in the Pentagon Centre on Broomielaw, and owned by artist and Glasgow School of Art lecturer Claire Crines, the gallery offers a programme of exhibitions by both solo artists and group exhibitors. Previous exhibitions at the gallery have featured photography, painting and sculpture, as well as a selection of more interactive pieces.

Every year the gallery hosts a popular Best of Degree Show to showcase the talents of the Art School students. The gallery also offers one month residencies to artists who can make use of the facilities in the workshop, including a dark room and jewellery benches. These are additionally used for the programming of adult classes taught at the venue such as wood carving, stained glass and botanical drawing and painting.
