Lammars Bar

Voted Best Bar in Manchester in both 2009 and 2010, Lammars is a stylish bar with a relaxed atmosphere. Whether you’re enjoying a quick coffee in the day, popping in for a pint after work, or sitting down for a meal in the evening, Lammars is a great location for any occasion. Located on the edge of the Northern Quarter close to Piccadilly Station, the bar is named after one of Manchester’s most loved drag queens — Frank ‘Foo Foo’ Lammar, so it’s unsurprising to find such extravagant decor and unusual wall accoutrements. Chill out on one of their chic purple velvet sofas while DJs spin Motown, soul, and 70s and 80s classics. Behind the bar you’ll find a number of fruity cocktails (all priced at £7.50), wines, beers, spirits and champagne, and on the menu you can find plenty of gastropub staples, including burgers, fish and chips, and nachos, as well as an extensive tapas menu.
