Blenheim Building, The Crescent Walk | Wirral CH48 4DA
This quirky cafe is located just up the road from West Kirby beach on the Wirral, and serves freshly made food with a smile. Step inside and the cheery atmosphere will instantly make you feel welcome, and check out their specials board for the latest dishes on their ever-changing menu. Aubergine is perhaps best known for their staple dishes, including a hangover curing full English breakfast. Their healthy meals are made from locally sourced ingredients, and as well as salads and sandwiches, you’ll find hot food including burgers, pasta and chilli, all sold at pocket-friendly prices and with plenty of vegetarian options on offer too. Aubergine is decorated with vintage furniture, framed artwork and old teacups, creating a comforting ambience to while away the hours in. You can also borrow a book from their stuffed shelves to peruse over some freshly ground coffee or loose leaf tea.
