Camp and Furnace is based on a concept very suited to its home city, Liverpool; transforming the shells of industrial history into hubs of creativity and collaboration. The building is made up of three warehouses and a shed - all of which have been transformed through sensitive and thoughtful architectural intervention. Indeed, this vast venue is one of Liverpool’s most cutting edge and magical spaces. Located in the Baltic Triangle, which is rapidly ascending to be a creative hot spot, Camp and Furnace hosts music festivals, arts exhibitions, vintage fairs, comedy nights, pop-up events and festivals, live music and club nights. There is also a weekly Friday Night Food Slam, where you can sit in the warmth of a roaring fire and sample an array of street food-esque cuisine. The beauty of the venue lies in the small touches which create a hybrid space; shrubbery escapes from the exposed brick walls and bright lights bring the outside in, and the boutique caravans and book-laden walls give a sense of majestic wonder.
