Look on the Brudenell, ye mighty, and despair!

No other place epitomises Leeds quite like the Brudenell Social Club. Located in Hyde Park, from the outside 'the Brud', as it is affectionately known, would appear to be an old working men’s club, lost to a bygone time of colliery bands and variety acts. However, there’s more than meets the eye to the Brudenell, loved by both locals and students alike and one of the best pubs in Leeds.

Half old man’s pub, half pioneering music venue, the Brudenell has hosted acts from St. Vincent and The War On Drugs to Wild Beasts and current local legends Hookworms. Whereas craft-beer serving indie establishments have been popping up all around the city recently, the Brudenell has been here for years, a proud example of locals and students sitting side by side in ever so slightly uneasy peace.

If there is one place to visit in Leeds this is it. Mark our words, the Brudenell Social Club is one of a kind, the real deal; prepare to make some memories. [Edy Hurst]
