Nardini's

Nardini’s on Byres Road is the little sister of the famous ice-cream parlour in Largs. Whereas the Largs outlet is a sprawling art deco landmark, serving fish teas and 32 flavours of ice-cream, the Glasgow branch is altogether more compact. It can be difficult to get a table at times, and, if Glasgow’s having a sunny spell, it’ll be queued out the door – but this real Italian gelato is so very worth it. If you manage to bag a table, choose one of their Diabetic coma-inducing sundaes. Otherwise, a cone to go is just as good. There are ten flavours to pick from, which change on a daily basis. And if you’re not in the mood for ice-cream (seriously, what's wrong with you?), there are sandwiches and savouries on offer – but really, if you don’t like ice cream, Nardini’s isn’t really the place for you.
