Laboratorio Espresso

Stylish is synonymous with Milan, and that’s exactly what Laboratorio Espresso is. A glass front reveals a sleek interior of wood and concrete – you could almost forget you’re in Glasgow, if only you couldn’t see the pouring rain through all that glass... With only a few tables and chairs, in true Italian style, it’s very much a grab and go kind of place.

But, if you do bag a seat, there’s a bench by the window for people-watching, and a small lunch menu of sandwiches from Eusebi Deli. Their coffee is an Italian roast blended exclusively for them by Dear Green, and they offer a counter full of delicate, moreish Italian pastries. Bellissimo!
