The Tardis | Glasgow G1 1HD
It doesn't get much cooler than a zero waste micro-cafe in a police box. It's a dream for Glasgow's Whovians and situated in Merchant City, where the levels of urban chic balance out the cheerful nerdiness of enjoying some tasty scran from the city's very own Tardis.
Aptly summarised on the chalkboard menu as 'Wee place, big taste', Brew Box offers coffee and a range of quality food, from gourmet sandwiches to soup, curries and hot pots. The sweet treats are instagram-worthy too, with brownies, slices and cookie sandwiches which are products of healthy baking, so you won't feel so bad having two or five. The inspired street food menu changes from week to week and promotes healthy and sustainable food on the move, serving vegan and gluten-free options with fresh ingredients at competitive prices - it's roughly only a fiver for a hot drink and dish of your choice. It's worth checking the official Facebook page for what specials are available before heading down, though be prepared to salivate.
