The Horse Shoe Bar

With a history dating back to 1846, the Horseshoe provides exactly what you would expect from an elder statesman of the pub game; good beer, slightly odd seating, a passion for karaoke and the musk of thousands of drunken weekday evenings. Notably, in 2007, the owners did away with the traditional pies in preference of a standard pub grub menu. After great unrest among the regulars and a website petition that attracted coverage from television and newspapers the decision was reversed and the humble pie returned to the menu. People fought for those pies, so if you pop in, it’d be rude not to try one. Understood?
