Peckish for some Americana fare? Buddy's will sort you out. Or, if you were in the mood to paint Sauchiehall Street red, no fear. There are loads of alternatives! Head to The Garage, or alternatively check out if theres's anyone good playing at O2 ABC Glasgow. If you're not fussed about location, Sub Club is a winner.
Sauchiehall Street mainstay spot O’Couture was not only a diner, but also bar and club. It was the firmly rooted fave of all types of clientele. Open six nights a week, Tuesday through to Saturday, it was the fallback for students seeking a spontaneous night out, and its reasonably priced meals throughout the day kept 'em pretty cheery too. It also looked a bit like the love-child of a slick bar and high profile fashion glossy, meaning it appealed to young professionals too. Shame it's gone really.
Part of the venue (number 375 Sauchiehall Street) has been transformed into Daddy Cool's, a discotastic cheesefest with scandalously cheap shots.
