Meadow Bar

A lovely pub to have as your local – or indeed go out of your way and check out – the Meadow Bar has a relaxed and laid back atmosphere, making it perfect for lunch or dinner any day of the week, but especially a favourite with a hangover. Try out their homemade burgers, or whatever the special of the day may be, as they more often than not prove to be both inventive and delicious.

The friendly and chatty bar staff mean that many regulars are lurking about drinking pints at the bar, using the internet or watching sport on TV. They also boast big tables, comfy chairs and an upstairs bar that is available for free hire and is perfect if you want to have a birthday bash, get some decks and records on the go. Also a venue for the Free Fringe, where you can catch some quality comedy during August.
