Bristo Square

It's a year-round mecca for anyone in Edinburgh who likes to perform feats of incredible agility on wheels; but come August, the space is usurped by a gigantic inflatable cow with an auditorium in its belly. Set on Edinburgh University campus, Bristo Square and its surrounding buildings is the main site for the annual Fringe Festival events. At any other time, look both ways before crossing, lest an oblivious skateboarder cannons into you.
