Vintage shopping, without all the rummaging and possibility of leaving disappointed and empty-handed. Cow Vintage stocks vintage clothing that has been hand-picked from from around the world, so the people of Manchester can get their vintage fix. Once based in Piccadilly Gardens between the pound shop and the M&S, it looked a little out of place, but Cow has since relocated to the Northern Quarter, the home of all things vintage and second hand. Gone are the neon ceilings and shiny floor tiles — you’re now greeted by upcycled furniture, milk bottles and dolls houses as lampshades, and rugs that wouldn’t look out of place in your grandparents’ house. You’ll still find the same sort of stock though, and they don’t just sell clothes because they’re old — Cow keep up with trends and bring back looks from the past, as well as reworking old clothes to create new items.
