Turtle Bay is a Caribbean restaurant and bar at the heart of Manchester's vibrant Northern Quarter. Think rum, reggae and jerk chicken inspired by the beach shacks and street hawkers of the Caribbean islands.

A must try for anyone who's never experienced the deliciousness of jerk chicken, choose a couple of dishes to share or dig into a rich, slow simmered Caribbean one pot like Trinidad curry chicken or Caribbean fish curry with plenty of tasty side dishes available too. Some of the food is on the spicier side (we'd describe it as having a bit of a kick rather than burning your mouth off) but there are plenty of milder options too.

And if you like cocktails, the beauty of Turtle Bay is that it feels like it's happy hour pretty much all the time! All cocktails are 2-4-1 from 12-7pm and from 10pm until closing, and with 40 different rums on offer there are plenty to choose from. But for the designated drivers amongst your group, there are plenty of delicious non-alcoholic drinks on offer too. Forget sipping on a boring old diet coke all night; the homemade lemonade in particular is absolutely delicious.

Come and hang out at Turtle Bay if you like a casual, laid back atmosphere with fantastic food and loads of character. You may need to wait for a table on Friday and Saturday nights but it's well worth the wait. And there's always the bar to keep you occupied while you wait for your table.
