Artsy, collaborative and effortlessly cool, Twenty Twenty Two is a ping pong space and party bar that perfectly encapsulates the spirit of the Northern Quarter, offering an array of awesome events, exhibitions and DJs across its three rooms, adorned throughout by with artwork by established street artists.

After opening back in 2012 the basement venue has constantly evolved its approach to programming events, by supporting artistic talent through their exhibitions and hosting memorable DJ sets from the likes of Horse Meat Disco, Norman Jay and Greg Wilson, along with their regular Friday and Saturday night parties, which welcome the likes of Murkage Dave, Darka, Bad Osiris, Stylus and Klepto spinning hip hop, r'n'b, disco, garage and house. Open until the ripe old time of 4am, it's one of the Northern Quarter's later (and more popular) late night party spots.

Then, of course, there's the ping pong element, which you can capitalise on both at weekends and throughout the week, with free ping pong on Mondays and a tournament every first Tuesday of the month.

The space is also available for private hire. [Charlotte Davies]
