The Kazimier, known locally as ‘The Kaz’, is a truly magnificent gem of a venue. In recent years its popularity has grown with an almost cult following, making it one of the most popular places to go for live music in Liverpool. Visitors can expect original and often surreal events alongside amazing live music and club nights. Not to be confused with the Kazimier Gardens (although they are run by the same people), the Kazimier is an indoor gig venue, while Kazimier Gardens is the gorgeous outdoor bar area round the back that's open during the summer months (and accessed via Seel Street).
The Kazimier Club Liverpool's events weave together art, music, performance and poetry, creating an impressive yearly tapestry of creative events. The Kazimier doesn't have a physical box office or ticket hotline so tickets need to be purchased online. All shows are for over 18s unless otherwise stated and the venue has a capacity for 450, making it one of the more intimate places for concerts in Liverpool. Ticket prices vary for each event but they're usually quite reasonable (in the region of £10 to £20).
Free parking is available outside the Kazimier after 6pm and if you're struggling to find a space, Q Park on Hanover Street has plenty. If you're coming to the Kazimier by train, it's just a short walk from Lime Street Station and Liverpool Central. Opening times vary depending on what's on.
