Hidden away in Leeds' city centre, this formerly derelict textile-mill has been transformed into a master of all trades.

Brought to you by the team behind The Belgrave Music Hall, it very much feels similar – with its four-stories of red-brick interior now hosting an array of popular bars, restaurants and one of Leeds’ trendiest art spaces.

Downstairs at their Ox Club Restaurant, you can enjoy a modestly-priced menu based around Yorkshire-sourced cuisine, while in the beer hall you’ll find over 60 variations of the stuff from around the world, including cool, crisp, unpasteurised pints from the North of England’s first Pilsner Urquell tank.

Events-wise, the 150-cap arts space constantly stages an exciting mix of underground visual artists, bands and DJs. And if all that gets too much, their cocktail bar with its own roof terrace is the perfect place to unwind.

With all that happening between four walls, why on earth would you want to leave?

The Ox Club was a winner in the Best Restaurant category in the The Skinny Food and Drink Survey 2017. Check out the other winners as voted for by The Skinny readers here.
