A loving homage to the lower Manhattan neighbourhood of the same name, Tribeca specialise in dishing out jumbo-sized portions of North American breakfast and brunch foods. This makes it one of the primary ports of call for hungover West-enders who can stomach the walk – getting a table here on a Saturday morning requires no small amount of luck and dedication, FYI.

If you do manage, then be prepared to write-off the rest of your morning, as the resulting food baby will mean putting everything (and I mean everything) on the back burner.
