Established in 2015, Civic Room is a non-profit gallery located in a former British Linen Bank on Glasgow's High Street.

One of the gallery's main aims is to find and curate unusual opportunities for a variety of artists, designers and architects through a series of strands, new commissions and participatory artwork. All of which contribute to a wider conversation around the changing landscape of High Street.

Recent exhibitions have included a collaborative research project between artist Samuel de Lange and curator Alasdair Campbell, a film and sound work by Kate McMillan, and Iman Tajik & Jonas Jessen Hansen's Who Is? Project, as part of the Scottish Refugee Festival.
