Theatre Royal Bar

Located at the top of Leith Walk, the bar beside the Edinburgh Playhouse offers an old fashioned environment to have a pre-theatre drink, a post-theatre drink, or indeed and unrelated-to-theatre drink. The decor is of the Victorian variety, with lots of mirrors, wood and brass, and they serve food of the pub grub kind. Seats outside offer a good location for people watching in the two weeks of summer, and fires inside provide a cosy retreat in the 50-week winter.
