The Treehouse

A wee cafe on the corner of Leven Street, The Treehouse is frequented by hungry locals and hungry students of the Tollcross area. With tasty food, reasonable prices and a lovely, relaxed atmosphere, it’s almost always full. Breakfast starts at 8am (or 9am on a Sunday) and The Treehouse does everything from smoked salmon bagels to porridge and pancakes. For lunch there’s paninis, sandwiches and toasties, accompanied by a massive fresh salad and a side of couscous. And of course there’s ample tea, coffee and cakes on offer as well. Lovely, unpretentious and a great place to go for a lunchtime bite or Sunday brunch. There’s also a 10% discount on food orders for members of the Cameo or Filmhouse, NHS staff and students! So you totally can have a slice of cake as well.
