Chop Chop, Leith

Leith conterpart to the original Haymarket restaurant, Chop Chop does cheap, cheerful and charming Chinese food that more than lives up to its acclaim, notching up a few mantelpieces' worth of critical and commercial accolades in fast succession over the past couple of years. Their entire menu is made, from scratch, on the premises – something which is most definitely reflected in the high quality of their cuisine, but not in their extremely reasonable prices. Fast becoming a brilliantly unpretentious local legend, we suggest you chop chop down (sorry...) – if only for the dumplings. You just have to try the dumplings.
