The Dome is an iconic listed building on Edinburgh’s George Street which incorporates bars, restaurants, cafes, dining suites and conference rooms. Established in 1996, The Dome’s former life was as the Commercial Bank of Scotland. This was previously the site of the Old Physician’s Hall which was designed by James Craig, the celebrated planner of Edinburgh’s New Town. Today, The Dome sits proudly on George Street and remains a first choice venue for coffees, cocktails, lunch and dinner, as well as being relied upon to put up its Christmas decorations before just about anywhere else!
