Could this be true? A restaurant on the Royal Mile which won't sledgehammer your bank account? How dreamy. A street which is usually the haunt of bemused tourists desperately seeking something - anything - to eat after a day spent missguidedly climbing Arthur's Seat in a hail storm, the Royal Mile isn't normally the go-to for cheap eats. That is, until Kilderkin came along and shook things up.

They're most well known for their tasty pizzas (and their legendardy £1 pizza offer - we'll get to that later). That said, you can also get your chops around something veggie, a decent burger, and all sorts of salads and chicken dishes. We lost you at £1 pizza, didn't we? The deal tends to happen on a Monday, but keep an eye on their website for updates if you're serious about your slice prices. We've heard it's worth turning up early on special offer nights, as things get pretty darn busy when there's cheap pizza being chucked around.
