From the guys that brought us Panda and Sons on Queen Street, Hoot the Redeemer is a 50s-styled New Orleans funfair-themed dive bar (yes, really!). Slightly bonkers to say the least, but in a good way.
Upon entrance you’re greeted by a fortune teller machine and strewn about the bar you’ll find various arcade games, a slushy machine and an ice-cream vendor. Hoot the Redeemer have taken a typical childhood fantasy and made it even more fun, y'know, by adding alcohol. The slushy machine is full of alcoholic mixtures, so are the arcade prizes, and – well, whadda ya know – so is the ice cream machine, which is affectionately named ‘Senor Scoop’. As well as all the quirks and really cool design, there’s an extensive drinks menu to rival that of Panda and Sons, with the option to create a bespoke cocktail for yourself from flavours acquired from the claw machine. All-in-all, Hoot the Redeemer is a fantastically different establishment full of surprises and guaranteed to enduce child-like glee.
