Their writers development programme includes new writers awards, mentoring and media labs. Their website includes an online book group, reading recommendations, writing opportunities, as well as interviews with authors and illustrators available to listen to at your leisure. They also financially support up to 1500 author events a year in schools, libraries, prisons, hospitals, and the like – encouraging reading, creative writing and the enjoyment of books.
