Riddles, secrets, and the mysteries of music await as Capella Edina, Edinburgh's first resident philharmonic orchestra in almost 90 years, concludes its first season with Edward Elgar’s famously perplexing Enigma Variations.

Before this grand finale, the orchestra will perform a suite from the Golden Globe-winning film score for The Theory of Everything, a moving tribute to the life of the brilliant physicist Stephen Hawking, as well as Alexandre Desplat’s evocative suite from The Imitation Game, a haunting musical tribute to the genius of Alan Turing. The concert also features a world premiere from resident composer James Clay.
