Peckham's

Their Byres Road store acts as, in their own words, an 'Aladdin's cave of Peckham's finest and best'. In true fairytale fashion, the walls are piled high with an eye-watering range of food and drink – from deli delicacies to home-baked treats to the towering shelves of glinting glass bottles containing liquid happiness from around the world.

Those bottles shine on your left as you enter, the far wall lined with fridges, the right one made up of booths forming a minature coffee shop; the centre of the floor dominated by the deli counter island. To fit so much into a single, not excessively large space without it feeling cramped is difficult but Peckham's uses the space expertly, creating a store which flows easily and feels comfortably spacious even with the panoply of products that surround you.
