Gordon St Coffee

Occupying the long, empty space at the front entrance to Central Station, Gordon St Coffee is perfectly placed to catch the morning commuters. Inside, it’s clean, minimalist and functional, with stripped back walls and high plastic stools to sip coffee before you catch your train. The Glasgow Roast, their own coffee blend, is roasted in-store, using a big red Diedrich roaster which sits on the mezzanine. For those who aren’t in a mad grab-and-go dash to the train, there are seats on the mezzanine from which you can spy on the action at the counter below, and plenty of sockets for last minute phone charging. A selection of tasty looking cakes and sandwiches are also on offer, and loose leaf tea is served in lovely to look at, but impossible to pour, copper pots.
