Home's initial attraction is the fun you can have claiming you're 'at Home', when really you're in the pub, obvs. Luckily after the novelty of the name wears off there's still plenty more to be enjoyed – their drink promos being next on the list. With cosmopolitians, Becks draft, and bottles of house wine all at seriously discount prices, Home draws a consistently large crowd of students and post-work drinkers. The large interior and eclectic mix of booths, sofas and dining tables make it a popular option with larger groups, but there's a few cosy tables tucked away behind curtain room dividers as well. Located on Albion Street, the decor is the normal Merchant City glamour – y'know, graphic wall paper, fairy lights and a sweeping staircase up to the mezzanine where the DJ gets pride of place above the crowds.
