Distill

Distill is the new name for what was previously The Ivy. Luckily it's still run by the same people and still doing the same good things – rum, cocktails, DJs and an excellent food menu. In recent years, The Finnieston-based bar has been a second home to a number of Glasgow’s freshest DJ talent, with names like LuckyMe, Codeine Drums and Numbers regularly taking to the plush set of decks tucked away on top of the stairs. Understanding just how serious a business partying can be, the venue's a particularly good choice for those of you who feel like you need a night out, but just can’t commit to it.

It's not the cheapest bar in Glasgow but posiibly the only one to have a seasonal cocktail menu. Distill style themselves as a rum bar, with over a hundred varieties stacked up behind the bar, but luckily the other spirits haven't been neglected – they just don't warrant such nice display.
