Century General Store

The Century General Store is a shop with a wee coffee counter which specialises in your everyday modern necessities. That is coffee, cake, pastries, bread and stylish homeware.  Reminiscent of a time before Tesco, Century General Store is a community shop which provides local residents with handpicked products to make a house a home and products to enrich the soul. The wee coffee counter in the store serves silky smooth coffee alongside delicious cakes and pastries, which can be enjoyed in the shop whilst perusing their latest products for sale.  Locally produced items are on sale in the store alongside gifts, accessories, kitchenware and utility items. Products are picked with quality and longevity in mind and are just pining to be taken home and enjoyed. There’s also an online shop to peruse but it’s by far better to check the place out in person and see the latte art for yourself. Century General Store is on Marchmont Crescent and also has a sister store on Montrose Terrace in Abbeyhill.
