Gran Caffe

Gran Caffe is located in the historic and elegant surroundings of The Signet Library in Parliament Square, just off the Royal Mile. Its rather refined approach to café culture certainly does match its surroundings. Seafood platters are on offer beside a vast menu of homebaking and an extensive range of teas, coffees and hot chocolates. Possibly the best way to experience Gran Caffe is to forget lunch and take afternoon tea instead. For around £20 per person a delectable combination of gourmet filled sandwiches, homemade fruit scones, loose leaf tea and an assortment of sweets is presented in the traditional towering fashion. Hopefully a polite request for a doggy bag would not be frowned upon. Gobble.
