What a big ol' shame. Were you looking for some educational enlightenment? Why not check out the University of Edinburgh's main library or Summerhall?

The University of Edinburgh's newest and most swish display of scientific prowess, Inspace, spoke layman language when it opened its doors to the public. In partnership with New Media Scotland, the university's own School of Informatics set up various educational and experimental projects, with the opportunities for talks, performances and quarterley new technology exhibitions, as well as various other one-off cultural events.

However, in 2014, after five years spent delivering top-notch academic discourse to the people ("an interface between gown and town", if you will), Inspace became a robotics labratory. Sadly, the chance for public access was off the table, but it's pretty damn cool that Edinburgh University is dipping its toes into robotics and the like. Watch this (In)space.
